Resonant Reverb

What it is

Resonant Reverb is a creative reverb plugin from Epica Audio built with producer and engineer Joe Chiccarelli. It pairs dual resonant filters, one before and one after the reverb engine, with a plate reverb capable of up to 47 seconds of decay, so it can move well past a normal room or hall sound into evolving, filtered textures.

Who it's for

Producers and mix engineers who want reverb as a sound-design tool rather than just a space simulator, especially anyone working on ambient beds, cinematic transitions, or vocal and synth textures that need to bloom and breathe rather than sit static.

Key features

• Dual resonant HPF/LPF filters placed pre- and post-reverb with independent resonance controls
• Analog-style harmonic saturation built into the first filter stage
• An 1176-inspired compression stage plus stereo width control for shaping the tail
• 58 factory presets from Joe Chiccarelli, with independent bypass on each module for building custom signal chains
