Sarod is a sample-based Indian instrument plugin from RDGAudio that models the sarod, a fretless, resonant lute central to Hindustani classical music. It ships with two distinct instrument models, "Pandit" and "Ustaad," built from a library of more than 480 recorded articulations covering main string, strum string, jhalor string (sympathetic drone strings), and trill techniques. RDGAudio layers AI-assisted physical modeling on top of the samples to keep slides, ornaments, and sustained notes sounding natural rather than looped.
