What it is

Scanner Vibrato is a virtual effect plugin by Martinic that precisely recreates the scanner-vibrato effect from the legendary tonewheel organ. Built using Martinic's ACE modeling technique, it faithfully emulates the original 1940s electromechanical device - a delay line driven by a mechanical rotor fixed at around 6.9 Hz. The plugin captures both the distinctive chorus and vibrato character that defined the tonewheel organ sound across decades of recordings.
