What it is

Silk is a 25GB sample-based instrument library from EastWest covering the traditional instruments of the Silk Road - China, India, and Persia. It includes bowed, plucked, and wind instruments such as the erhu, zhonghu, jinghu, duduk, bansuri, and dilruba, alongside a 30-piece string section. Master musicians recorded the performances at legendary EastWest Studios using vintage Neumann microphones, Neve consoles, and Meitner converters, resulting in a level of authenticity that is difficult to find elsewhere.
