The deal

$99 at Plugin Boutique (down from $179). The sale runs through October 12, 2026.

What it is

smart:chain is an AI-assisted channel strip from sonible that bundles EQ, compression, gating, de-harshing, saturation, and input riding into one plugin. Its modules share a single analysis of the incoming signal, so each stage reacts to what the others are doing. Instances on different tracks can also communicate with each other for session-wide decisions.

Who it's for

Mixing engineers and producers who want a faster route to a solid rough mix without giving up control. It suits anyone who does the same gain staging and cleanup moves on every session.

Key features

• Shared signal understanding across the EQ, compression, gating, de-harshing, saturation, and input riding modules
• Depth staging helps place instrument and vocal groups front to back in the mix
• Session-wide auto leveling is genre-aware, and multi-instance communication gives you central control over the whole session
• Every parameter stays editable, so the intelligent starting points are just that
