SP-36TH MKII
The deal
$31 at Pulse Audio (down from $39). The sale runs through October 9, 2026. Pulse Audio also gives store credit back on the purchase.
What it is
SP-36TH MKII is a boom-bap drum sampler built for the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt (7.10.9 or newer). It ships with 10 hard-hitting drum kits tuned for gritty, sample-based hip-hop. The sound-shaping tools are built in, so kits come out punchy and dusty without extra plugins.
Who it's for
Hip-hop and boom-bap producers who want a dedicated drum instrument for chopped-sample beats. It also suits lo-fi and old-school style beatmakers who already work in Kontakt.
Key features
- Ten boom-bap drum kits are included
- Choose between SP1200 and HiFi pitch algorithms for different grit levels
- A release shaper, SSL-style compressor, and drive circuit shape each kit
- Plate reverb and multi-output routing are built in
