What it is
Stay-Levin is a vari-mu tube compressor plugin from Antelope Audio, modeled on a 1960s compression unit. It adds the smooth, gently squeezing character of vintage tube gear. It is available as VST3, Audio Unit, and AAX for Mac and Windows.
Who it's for
Producers and mix engineers who want classic tube compression on bass and vocals without a complicated interface. It also suits anyone who wants an easy-to-dial glue compressor for other sources.
Key features
- Controls are kept simple, with just two knobs and two switches
- The tube compression is modeled on the original 1960s circuitry
- It is tuned especially for bass and vocals, but works across many sources
- The purchase includes the native plugin as well as a Synergy Core real-time version
