What it is

The Strumstick is a Kontakt instrument from Versilian Studios that samples a three-string acoustic instrument with a sound somewhere between a banjo and a guitar. It is sampled in a diatonic D Grand tuning and covers picked, plucked and bowed playing.

Who it's for

Producers and composers who want an organic, folky plucked-string texture for singer-songwriter tracks, film cues or ambient layers. It suits anyone who needs a distinctive acoustic color beyond standard guitar libraries.
