XILS 4 is an analog matrix modular synthesizer that emulates the legendary EMS VCS4, a never-released prototype that combined two VCS 3 synthesis engines. It delivers deep, experimental analog character through 12 aliasing-free oscillators, dual zero-delay multimode filters, and over 1,140 possible patch connections per preset. The result is one of the most architecturally complex virtual instruments available, capable of sounds that range from classic analog warmth to completely uncharted sonic territory.
