Alien PsyRack

The deal

$20.30 at KVR Marketplace (down from $29). The sale runs through November 1, 2026.

What it is

Alien PsyRack is an eight-slot multi-effects rack built specifically for psytrance production. It packs 21 purpose-built effects, each slot with its own wet/dry mix and bypass, and you can chain them in any order. It runs as VST3, Audio Unit, or standalone on Windows 10/11 and macOS 10.15+ (Intel and Apple Silicon).

Who it's for

Psytrance and psychedelic electronic producers who want gallops, glitchy stutters, and evolving textures from a single plugin. It suits anyone building transitions and movement into basslines, leads, and drum loops without stacking a dozen separate effects.

Key features

• A Triplet Engine handles gallops and ratchets
• Wormhole and Grain Cloud cover buffer mangling, reverse/stretch, and granular processing
• Alien Mouth adds vowel and formant filtering, alongside a Harmonic Tunnel and tuned Resonator
• A Perform page with 8 macros and an X/Y Flux pad lets you play the rack live, and a free demo unlocks 6 of the 21 modules so you can try it first
