The Black Box Analog Design HG-2 is a tube saturation plugin modeled on the original analog hardware unit. It simulates four vacuum tube stages wired in series and parallel circuits, using authentic 6U8A pentode and triode circuits to add musical harmonic distortion. Plugin Alliance developed the plugin to capture the original hardware character, from subtle warmth to heavy tube drive.
