Cardinals is a 109-preset library for Chromaphone 2, Applied Acoustics Systems' acclaimed physical modeling synthesizer. The pack was designed by sound designer and composer Simon Stockhausen, whose focus on dualism threads through all eight categories: Achromatic and Chromatic Percussion, Danger Zone, Keys, Synths, Strings, Pads, Textures, and Scapes. Chromaphone builds its sounds by simulating resonating objects - strings, membranes, and plates - giving Cardinals a distinctly organic quality that wavetable and subtractive synths can't match.
