What it is

This is a drum sample library built specifically for Italo Disco, Synthpop, and Spacesynth production, recorded using real vintage hardware. The drum loops were tracked through a modified Roland TR-626 loaded with extra ROM chips containing sounds from the Linndrum, Roland TR-707, and Oberheim DMX - plus a Yamaha TMX and Kurzweil K-2000r sampler. The pack was created by Maxim Vasilyev, a sound engineer behind ZYX-label Italo Disco productions, which is about as authentic a pedigree as you will find for this genre.
