What it is

Quanta 2 is a granular synthesizer from Audio Damage that combines a powerful grain engine with dual virtual analog oscillators, giving it a wider range than most dedicated granular tools. You load a sample (WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3, or Ogg) and scatter it into up to 100 simultaneous grains per voice, each up to one second long - or skip the sample entirely and run it as a purely subtractive synth. The result is anything from shimmering textures and evolving pads to completely unrecognizable, morphing soundscapes.
