What it is

Skyedrift is an ambient instrument for Kontakt 7 Player built for creating organic and evolving drones, pads, and textures. Inspired by the atmosphere of Nordic and German film composers, it draws from 1,387 samples recorded across 13+ instrument categories - strings, winds, guitars, analog synths, vocals, percussion, and rare instruments like the Brazilian berimbau and spinulum. Every sample was processed through reel-to-reel tape, cassette, FX pedals, and plugins to give the library a warm, textured character.
