Arppe2600va

by Glen Stegner
Best for Best for synth users who want vintage ARP-style basses, leads, bleeps, and unstable sci-fi effects from a semi-modular workflow without diving into a full modular environment. It suits electronic producers and sound designers who like sample-and-hold motion, ring-mod grit, FM weirdness, and hands-on patching for classic monosynth parts.

Description

Based on ARP's legendary semi-modular analog monosynth, Arp2600va aims to emulate the original Arp2600.

Like the original, it's a monosynth, but also like the original, it has many Frequency Modulation options which enable it to create some truly weird sound effects. PWM, Sample & Hold, virtual Spring Reverb, Ring Modulation, and a dedicated Noise Generator are all there.
