Description
Brandulator by Stone Voices is a tempo-synced multi-effect processor that splits incoming audio into 16 rhythmic steps and routes each step through independently configured processing. It combines comb filters, trance gate, vocoder, ring modulation, wah-wah, and classic modulation effects (chorus, flanger, phaser) in a single interface driven by an internal sequencer.
Three parallel processing channels, each with its own 16-step lane, volume control, and stereo panning, let you layer and interweave multiple effect types simultaneously. Every step in every channel can be assigned a different processing mode and pitch, creating intricate rhythmic and harmonic patterns that stay locked to your DAW's tempo.
Pitch assignment draws from a database of over 300 musical scales and chord formulas. A single click of the randomize button re-tunes all steps across all three channels according to the selected scale, making it easy to generate new variations quickly.
Version 2.0 ships with 106 factory presets covering comb filter sweeps, glitched-out rhythmic textures, vocoder patterns, and modulation sequences. Full MIDI keyboard support lets you trigger pitch changes and parameter shifts in real time during live performance.
