Description

Burier by KIT Plugins is a saturation and filter effect for adding anything from a touch of harmonic character to pronounced distortion. Its simple interface puts drive, tone shaping and parallel blending within reach, making it useful when a track needs more presence or grit.

The central Bury control sets the amount of saturation, followed by resonant low-cut and high-cut filters for shaping the processed sound. Each filter has a 12 dB per octave slope, so you can trim the extremes or focus the effect on a narrower part of the spectrum.

A mix control blends the processed signal with the original, while the output control helps manage the level after adding drive. This makes it practical to try heavier settings on drums or bass while retaining some of the original signal, or to add a smaller amount of color to vocals, guitars and synths.

The interface can be resized and offers three color options. KIT Plugins lists 64-bit VST3, AU and AAX formats for compatible Windows and macOS hosts, with mono and stereo signal support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Burier blend distortion with the original signal?

Yes. Its mix control blends the saturated signal with the dry input, allowing parallel processing without a separate effects bus.

What do the low-cut and high-cut controls do?

They adjust resonant filters after the saturation stage to shape the processed tone. Both filters have a 12 dB per octave slope.

Does Burier support Apple silicon?

KIT Plugins lists both Intel and M-Series Macs running macOS 10.14 or above. A compatible 64-bit host is required.
