EpiCentre is a Distortion/FSU effect designed with minimal controls, to get fast and dirty results:

Custom coded in C++, oversampled where useful, SSE2 optimizations of some critical code and ZDF filters for smooth modulation. GUI by Sebastian Heemsath aka Halma.
