Description
Overdose is a wavetable synthesizer developed by Noizefield in collaboration with Infected Sounds. It packs dual oscillators with 168 waveforms each, ring modulation, FM synthesis, and a trio of filters including two multimode filters and a vowel filter.
The synth engine runs through four ADSR envelopes and fadable LFOs, giving deep control over sound shaping. Built-in effects cover stereo chorus, phaser, trance gate, ensemble, bit crusher, and distortion with drive.
Overdose targets electronic producers working across EDM, trance, trap, dubstep, hip-hop, and techno. Its strength is rapid sound design — users report building patches faster than in more general-purpose synths, thanks to the focused feature set and streamlined interface.
The 25 factory presets lean toward aggressive leads, thick basses, and pulsing pads suited to high-energy genres. Customizable color skins let you change the interface appearance by clicking the IS logo.
Overdose ships as a Windows-only VST plugin in both 32-bit (3.6 MB) and 64-bit (4.7 MB) builds. Registration on the Noizefield website is required to access the download.
