Description
Pult EQ by Consistent Interruption is a Pultec-style tube EQ plugin for adding broad analog-style tone shaping, stereo width control, and harmonic color inside a simple VST3 effect. It is built for musical boosts, cuts, and saturation rather than fine surgical correction.
The low-frequency section handles the classic boost-and-attenuate move that gives Pultec-style EQs their rounded bass lift and low-mid cleanup. The high section adds separate boost and attenuation ranges plus bandwidth adjustment, so it can brighten vocals, drums, synths, and buses without behaving like a standard parametric EQ.
A drive control adds saturation based on Airwindows Tube2, with automatic gain compensation to keep level changes easier to judge. Oversampling reaches up to 16x, and the settings panel lets users choose between a low-latency polyphase filter or a phase-linear FIR oversampling filter.
The EQ can process the full stereo signal or focus on mid and side material independently. That makes Pult EQ especially useful for widening top-end air, tightening center bass, or giving a mix bus more character while keeping the interface direct and lightweight.
