Description
RetroVibes Lite is a sample-based ROMpler instrument by Audiolatry that delivers 21 presets of authentic 80s synth sounds captured from vintage hardware synthesizers and emulators. The preset library covers brasses, basses, leads, keys, synths, and percussion, all carrying the unmistakable warmth and character of the decade.
Each preset offers deep customization through an ADSR envelope, lowpass and highpass filter with cutoff control, LFO modulation with five waveform types (triangle, sine, saw, square, exponent), and a built-in reverb module. Voice modes include polyphonic, monophonic, and legato with adjustable glide, giving you flexible performance control.
The interface is clean and beginner-friendly, with a top-mounted preset browser for quick sound switching and clearly labeled sections for every parameter. A tune knob and velocity curve selector round out the sound-shaping options, making it easy to fit these retro textures into modern productions.
RetroVibes Lite is the fully functional version of the paid RetroVibes plugin, with the only difference being the preset count (21 versus 71 in the full version). At 366 MB download size, it installs quickly and runs as VST3 on Windows and VST3 plus AU on macOS.
