Description
Swanky Amp is Resonant DSP’s tube amplifier emulation plug-in, built from detailed simulations of real tube amplifier circuits. Its controls expose preamp distortion, power-amp distortion, input level, and output level so you can move from clear tones and vintage crunch toward higher-gain textures while retaining control over the amplifier response.
The model includes coordinated sag and note-bloom behavior to capture the interaction between tube stages as a note breaks up and recovers. Resonant DSP describes fine-grained control over the tube characteristics, with a workflow designed for quick tone shaping rather than a large effects rack.
Swanky Amp is released under the GNU GPL v3.0. Version 1.4.0 provides Windows VST3 files and installer packages plus macOS VST3 and AU disk images, and the developer also publishes a separate preset download.
