Description
Zebralette 3 is u-he’s single-oscillator spectral synthesizer, designed to expose deep waveform and modulation tools in a focused instrument. It is freeware and centers on a fully featured spectral oscillator with morphing, shaping, and additive or wavetable synthesis options.
The oscillator editor supports spline curves, Bézier handles, freehand drawing, warping, and multiple wavetable snapshots. Two oscillator FX blocks add filter, formant, phase-distortion, and spectral-decay processing, while the flexible MSEG editor lets you draw animated modulation curves.
Two tempo-syncable LFOs and an ADSR envelope provide the basic movement sources, and the modulation matrix routes sources to destinations with modifiers such as quantization, sample and hold, and slew. Global delay and reverb finish the sound inside the plug-in.
Use Zebralette 3 for evolving pads, animated digital textures, unusual basses, and motion-rich leads when you want hands-on waveform design without the full scale of Zebra.
