Danaides is Inear Display's sequenced sound-mangling effect for turning an incoming track into tempo-aware glitches, repeats, and degraded textures. It places a pre-filter before three destructive processors: a short-slice driller, a metallic delay, and a sample-rate reducer.
Two sequencers can change the chosen effect and the dry/wet balance over time, making it suited to programmed phrases rather than a static insert effect. The two Morph LFOs, each with two sub-LFOs, add further modulation and can synchronize with the host tempo.
