Key Features

  • Drives 808s, kicks, snares and drum buses with saturation aimed at added density and perceived loudness.
  • Adds transient punch so drum attacks can cut through a dense beat without stacking extra processors.
  • Reinforces low-end body for bass-heavy material that needs more weight on small speakers.
  • Includes soft clipping for peak control and harder drum coloration before the final output stage.
  • Blends processed and dry signal with a MIX control for parallel saturation inside the plugin.
  • Offers Warm, Burn, Molten and Inferno modes for moving from subtle tone to aggressive distortion.
  • Ships with three factory presets and an illustrated PDF manual for quick Windows VST3 setup.

Description

GODLIKE HEAT is a Windows VST3 drum enhancer built to make 808s, kicks, snares, basses and drum buses hit harder from one compact effect. It combines saturation, transient shaping, low-end reinforcement, soft clipping and parallel blend control, so producers can add weight and loudness without building a long chain.

The workflow centers on a main HEAT drive control, then adds focused sections for punch, body, clipping, dry/wet mix and output level. Four saturation modes move from smoother warmth to aggressive distortion, which makes it useful for trap, drill, phonk, hip-hop and other bass-heavy sessions.

Godlike Loops positions the plugin as an audio processor rather than an 808 instrument or sample player. That distinction matters: it will not generate bass samples, but it can reshape existing drums and 808s with extra harmonics, sharper attack and controlled peaks.

The current release is Windows-only and ships as a VST3 folder with three factory presets, a PDF manual and installation guidance for common VST3 hosts. Access runs through the developer's store checkout, where the product page lists the price as $0.00 and starts the download flow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is GODLIKE HEAT an 808 instrument?

No. GODLIKE HEAT is an audio effect for processing existing 808s, kicks, snares, basses, drum loops and drum buses, so it needs audio or an instrument track feeding it.

What does the MIX control do?

The MIX control blends the processed signal with the dry input. That makes it useful for parallel saturation, where the drum keeps its original transient while gaining extra drive and weight.

Which saturation mode should I start with?

Start with Warm for smoother weight or Burn when the drum needs more forward bite. Molten and Inferno are better for obvious distortion, aggressive 808s and phonk-style drum coloration.

Does GODLIKE HEAT work on material besides drums?

Yes, the developer notes that it can process percussion, basses, synths and full drum buses. It is still most specifically designed around 808s, kicks, snares and bass-heavy drum processing.
