Description
Grand Piano by Audiolatry is a sampled Yamaha C5 6’7” grand piano presented as a lightweight ROMpler plug-in. Its multi-sampled notes use 16 velocity layers, and dedicated key-release noises help the instrument respond with more detail than a single-layer piano patch.
The instrument includes four onboard effects: reverb, chorus, delay, and motion/tremolo. Separate volume controls for the piano sound and release noises make it possible to keep the mechanical detail subtle, while a global volume and ADSR envelope provide straightforward level and envelope shaping.
Audiolatry lists 48 kHz, 24-bit source audio and about 1.19 GB on disk. The format notes specify VST3 for Windows and VST3 plus AU for macOS, with no AAX version for Pro Tools.
