Description

Helix Stadium Native Intro is Line 6's entry-level amp and effects plugin for running Helix Stadium tones inside a DAW. It gives guitarists, bassists, producers, and mix engineers a focused subset of the larger Helix Stadium Native system, with amp modeling, cabinet models, effects, IR loading, and Proxy clone support in one plugin.

The included model set is built around practical core sounds rather than a huge browser. You get clean, crunch, high-gain, and bass amp options with matching cabs, plus distortion, modulation, delay, reverb, dynamics, gate, and EQ blocks for building complete recording chains.

Its strongest workflow is quick direct recording when you want believable amp response without setting up hardware. Focus View and Hype are useful for fast tone shaping, while Preset Clips, Preset Info, snapshots, MIDI control, automation assignment, and sample-rate support up to 192 kHz make the plugin feel closer to a full production tool than a simple starter amp sim.

There are important limits compared with the paid Helix Stadium Native license. Intro uses the same installer, but the model library, Proxy clone count, and hardware compatibility options are restricted, so it works best as a compact Stadium-format tone platform rather than a replacement for the complete Line 6 ecosystem.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Intro license differ from the full Helix Stadium Native license?

Intro uses the same Helix Stadium Native installer but unlocks a smaller model set. The full license adds the complete amp, cab, and effects library, expanded Proxy clone limits, more hardware compatibility options, and paid support.

Can Helix Stadium Native Intro load cabinet IRs and Proxy clones?

Yes. Line 6 lists cabinet IR loading and Proxy clone loading as Intro features, though the Intro license limits the number of Proxy clones available per preset compared with the full version.

What happens if the 15-day trial expires?

Line 6 says expired trial instances revert to the Intro amp, cab, and effects set. Existing projects that only use Intro-supported models can continue opening with the limited license.

Is this the same product as the older Helix Native plugin?

No. The source article and Line 6 FAQ treat Helix Stadium Native as the plugin version of the newer Stadium platform, while the older Helix Native remains a separate product for the Helix/HX ecosystem.
