Description
ScandiClavia 2 is a virtual analog organ module by Fanan Team inspired by the tonewheel-driven sound of classic Scandinavian hardware organs. It pairs two independent oscillator engines — a clean precision organ and a grittier Hammond-style electric organ — each loaded with seven waveforms, and lets you blend them through an open-mixer architecture for a wide range of organ tones.
The dual-oscillator design is where the plugin really shines. Each engine has its own hi-pass and lo-pass filters, octave tuning, amplitude envelopes, and dedicated send levels to the rotary speaker and gleam effects, giving you fine-grained control over every layer of the sound.
An exclusive hammer manager adds the percussive click that defines classic organ playing, offering seven hammer types that range from dull and subtle to bright and noisy. Drawbars with customizable routing round out the tone-shaping toolkit, bringing the hands-on feel of a real drawbar organ into the plugin window.
The built-in effects section covers six processors — cabinet emulation with four models, chorus, phaser, wah-wah, reverb, and delay — so you can shape the final sound without reaching for external plugins. Full MIDI learn support makes it straightforward to map hardware controllers to any parameter.
ScandiClavia 2 runs as a VST and VST3 instrument on Windows (32-bit and 64-bit). The download weighs in at roughly 17 MB for the 32-bit build and 20 MB for the 64-bit version.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of organ sounds does ScandiClavia 2 produce?
ScandiClavia 2 focuses on two styles: a clean precision organ with a bright, detailed character and a Hammond-style electric organ with a warmer, grittier tone. You can blend both engines together through the mixer to create everything from smooth jazz organ pads to aggressive, clicky rock organ sounds.
Does ScandiClavia 2 include a rotary speaker effect?
Yes. The v2.5 update added a dedicated rotary speaker emulation with independent send levels per oscillator. Combined with the four-model cabinet section, it lets you recreate the swirling Leslie-style sound that defines classic organ recordings.
What is the hammer manager in ScandiClavia 2?
The hammer manager is an exclusive click generator that simulates the percussive key-click heard on real tonewheel organs. It offers seven hammer types ranging from dull and subtle to bright and noisy, letting you dial in the exact amount of attack character you want.
Does ScandiClavia 2 work on macOS or Linux?
No. ScandiClavia 2 is currently Windows-only, available in both 32-bit and 64-bit builds. There is no macOS or Linux version at this time.
