MDelay is a dual-tap delay effect from MeldaProduction, included as part of the MFreeFXBundle for macOS and Windows. It is built for regular echo duties as well as more animated rhythmic delays, with independent tap controls and multiple ways to route the repeats.
The core workflow centers on two tap units with gain, panorama, time, and shuffle controls. Serial mode feeds the second tap from the first for denser patterns, while parallel behavior keeps the taps more independent for cleaner layered echoes.
MDelay can move between clean digital repeats and more characterful echoes using its Modern and Tape algorithms. The Default, Classic, and Ping-Pong delay types cover feedback-dependent repeats, first-echo behavior that stays independent of feedback, and wide left-right echo movement.
