Description
StudioZIO MixRack is a modular mixing processor for macOS that puts eight processing modules into one reorderable rack. Gain, Three-Band EQ, Channel Mixer, Compressor, Gate, Transient Shaper, Clipper and Limiter cover level control, tonal shaping and dynamics within a single signal path.
The rack has eight slots, so all eight modules can be loaded at once, and their top-to-bottom arrangement determines the order of processing. This lets you build a compact channel-strip chain or change where equalization, transient shaping and peak control sit relative to one another.
Modules open inside their slots instead of launching separate windows, while the right-hand meter column keeps the rack's output measurements visible. Peak, true peak, RMS, correlation and loudness readouts help you follow changes to level and stereo behavior as you adjust the chain.
Factory presets and A/B controls provide starting points and a way to compare settings, with the module browser grouping processors into Utility, Dynamics, EQ and Saturation. The interface also reports rack latency, sample rate, channel count, oversampling and CPU use rather than hiding that information in a separate panel.
MixRack 1.0.0 is permanently free, with no paid tier, licence key or developer registration required. StudioZIO provides one public installer for its Universal macOS release and says the package is Developer ID signed and Apple-notarized; SoundShockAudio links to that official release rather than hosting the software.
